The Friday Feel Good Quick Mix ~ Do You Love What You Feel
We had to take a little time off because we had a Family Emergency. Fry Weezie was rushed to the hospital suffering from a Heart Attack. We are Happy to let all our listeners know that He will be fine and doing well. It has been a long 5 years dealing with the symptoms, but the All Test came out negative. This is something that just happened and for what I hear, it happens a lot. We have a family history of Heart Decease, so that could of contribute to the heart attack. Fry was up and walking the next day. We would like to Thank Each and Everyone of you for your Thoughts and Prayers. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! Fry will have to let go of his Rock & Roll Life Style and settle for an easy going and a Healthy One.

I want to give a BIG Friday Feel Good Shout Out to Latino Comedian Rudy Moreno @TheRudyMoreno. I have worked with Rudy back in the late ’90’s. We supplied the sound reinforcement for all his local shows here in L.A and the O.C. Rudy is one the hardest working Latino Comedian in the business. He paved the way to some of the Biggest Names in Comedy, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Garcia, and Many More. Most comics will till you that you can’t be an L.A. Comic without doing a Rudy Moreno gig. Rudy has done countless of show all around the world and has appeared
We had the honor to have Gabriel perform @ my wedding in Aug. 1999. This was a surprise for all my guest. I wanted a comedian for my reception and Gabriel tore down the house. This was the edited version and was only half of his routine. He goes into his Roller Coaster Ride story and ends in a hilarious imitation of Bill Clinton speaking Spanish. The videographers decided to edit his routine in order to fit with the rest of the reception on a VHS tape. We have worked with other fellow Latino Comedians at Wedding receptions. We worked along side Rudy Moreno on another wedding reception and he had Edwin San Juan as a guest. It was a great time working with the Latino Comedy circuit and I am glad that they all have became successful in their career. Please support them and all stand up comedians when they come to your town. I would like to Thank Gabriel and all fellow Latino Comedians that I have worked with in the past. You are all truly blessed and talented. Keep us laughing.. Enjoy

We had to opportunity to work with Gabriel Iglesias @fluffyguy when he started his comedy career. Working along side of Rudy Moreno, another well known Latino Comedian, he would hire us to do the sound and music for the shows. We did shows in local restaurants, banquets, V.F.W. halls, plus a variety of charity events in Los Angeles and Orange County. Gabriel will always make you laugh. I had a change to sit down with him and pick his brain for a moment. He just comes out with some crazy funny stories. It is amazing how his brain processes. Where we will see something normal, he would get the funny out of it. Gabriel is one the hardest self motivated Latino comedians around. I recall an Event that we did for a local Charity in Orange County. He drove from San Jose to Orange County to help out with an event after performing (2) late night shows. Driving 372 miles, 6 hour, do a 2 hour event in the morning and drive back for another (2) show in San Jose. Now he is enjoying his fruits of his labor and all his hard work has paid off. He continues to tour the world and is one of the most well know Latino Comedians around. He would write new martial for new events and would ask me for my input, but there was nothing that I can say. He just was born for this. I had to honor to have him perform at my wedding in ’99. I wanted a comedian to perform during dinner reception and he tore the house done. Gabriel very humble and loves his fans. Make sure to check him out one of his shows when he come to your neighborhood. That is, if it is not sold out.
This is Audio Only. I was recoding the audio from behind the DJ Booth..
Jeff Garcia @jeffgarciaLA was always a regular at our Venues. He had a different style of comedy which he developed through the years. This is one of his live set I recorded at the Taste of Texas Toys for Tots Christmas event in 2000. Continue Reading →
