The Friday Feel Good Quick Mix for JUNE 2017 .

We got a special request to add some more RUN D.M.C. in the Friday Feel Good Mixes by one of our listeners. I love some RUN D.M.C. as well as all Old School Hip Hop Artist… A lot of our mixes contain Classic Hip Hop and Old School, simply because we need to take a break from mainstream music. So Fry Weezie, will put in all in a Blenda and Mix it up for you. We Love Music. It is a great escape for us. Fry’s Style of mixing and music selection is one of a kind. Just when you think he has out done himself, he throws in an unexpected jam that make you say, Oh! No He Didn’t (2 snaps up). LOL…. I hope you enjoy this mix…

Friday Feel Good Quick Mix ~ The Limo Ride Party Mix

Friday Feel Good Quick Mix for Nov 2015

LIMO Pic

We made this mixtape back in the late 90’s for a bachelorette Party. The bride to be, rented a limo and wanted me to make a mixtape for her special day. She chose the songs and I put them down in a mix. Side B was a Booty Mix. Although, we can’t seem to find that mixtape… Hmmmmm. I going to have Fry Weezie go on a mixtrape man hunt. The limo driver loved the mixtape and ask if he can have it. Luckily, we had a copy of it. I remember the night I recorded the mix. I was in my room and I had the lights off. I did all the cuing without a monitor just straight from the headphones. Which to this day, we still record the same way using just the headphones. I could not have loud music in my room because I did not want to disturb my family while they slept. I was trained using the headphones because local clubs did not have a monitors so we just used the headphones instead. This mix was recorded on Real Vinyl. Serato was not around till 2006. For ol’ Times sake, there are times when we mix using Serato but on Absolute Mode.  Absolute Mode resembles real vinyl on the Serato Sofeware. Sometimes, we still want to use are ears rather then keeping our eye glued on the laptop. We hope you enjoy the mix. I’m pretty sure the ladies enjoyed the Limo ride and males strippers. Cochinas!!!!

Artist on This mixtape Includes: Doug-e Fresh, Slick Rick, Mad Lion, MC Hammer, Eric B and Rakim, Keith Sweat, Guy, and Many More.

Friday Feel Good Quick Mix ~ OLD SCHOOL VS. NU SKOOL HIP HOP

The Friday Feel Good Quick Mix ~ OLD SCHOOL VS. NU SKOOL HIP HOP

This mix comes out straight from our archives. Some of our fans might already have downloaded this mix that was created about 5-6 years ago, but we decided to re-post it . This Mix was featured on Luxury Standard Magazine and we made a Part 2.

New Vs OldThe Battle of Hip Hop has come to this. Old School Vs. Nu Skool. Fry Weezie put it down on the 1’s and 2’s. We wanted to show how Hip Hop has evolved and it’s nothing better than do it in a mix. You be the judge. New School or Old School? Like any classic Rock or Motown hits, the music has ever lasting affect in our music souls. Classic Hip Hop has that affect on me as well as some of the New Hip Hop Artist of today. From Samples to Lyric samples, Hip Hop has change the world we live in. The Big Wigs in the Music industry thought is was a fade and it will only run it’s course. Boy, were they Wrong. Now they are Capitalizing on it BIG TIME. I love Old School Hip Hop and New School as well. I just wish the New School artist would have better Lyriscists and content that would be more positive rather than degrading women.

Content: Eazy E, Lil Wanye, Rodney O, Sir Mixalot, Dj Quik, Cali Swag District, Whodini, Jay Z, Joeski, Craig Mack, Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys, Game, and many more………

Friday Feel Good Quick Mix ~ Old School Hip Hop & R&B With a Bad Boy Feel To It

Friday Feel Good Quick Mix for August 2015.

We decided to create a Classic Hip Hop and R&B Mix and mixed in some of Bad Boy’s Classic Joints to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Bad Boy Records. Artist include: Diddy, Notorious B.I.G., 112, Mariah Carey, Craig Mack, Mase, Total, Lil Kim, The Lox, and Many More..

Enjoy the Mix. Listen, Download, and Share.. Take That, Take That…..

BadBoy coverHip-hop star Diddy hit the stage at the BET Awards with a very special surprise under his sleeve on June 28. He reunited with many acts once featured on Bad Boy Records to commemorate his label’s 20th anniversary.

The BET Awards included many surprises but the biggest of the night belonged to Diddy when gave the audience in attendance and at home nostalgia overload. Diddy is now known as a man of many talents and industries but he first launched his career some 20 years ago with Bad Boy Records. As Puff Daddy, he produced, rapped and rounded up an exceptional group artists for his label. Many of those acts returned to the stage with Diddy on that Sunday night.

To kick off the Bad Boy reunion performance, Diddy recreated the look of one of his ’90s video by emerging from an area covered in mirrors. Ma$e then hit the stage with “Feel So Good” featuring the fitting lyrics “Bad boy, you make me feel so good.” 112 followed with a still sensual performance of “Peaches and Cream.” Faith Evans vocally brought down the house on “Love Like This” looking the same as she did while on Diddy’s imprint. Recent Bad Boy recruit French Montana spit his verse from the “Hot N****” remix. It was “All About the Benjamins” that was the highlight with the return of The Lox and Lil Kim. The latter was especially exciting to see back in action before the late and great The Notorious B.I.G. appeared on a screen. Diddy rounded out the set with “Finna Get Loose,” his new single with Pharrell Williams.

The Bad Boy Family extravaganza during the BET Awards was everything and it reminded everyone watching about one of the best eras in hip-hop music. In terms of new music, Diddy and Pharrell’s “Finna Get Lose” will be released to iTunes on June 29. For fans of the OG Bad Boy Records, Diddy also announced an upcoming world tour featuring the best artists who ever graced his label roster.
